We’re evangelical about log cabins at GardenLife, but actually you don’t need four (or six or eight walls) to make your garden a better place to be. A simple square wooden gazebo can make it look better, and open up new uses. For example, the Betty (9.0 sqm) would be an ideal home for a hot tub.

We say simple, but actually there’s plenty of design excellence packed into this square garden gazebo. The 120mm x 120mm timber posts are laminated Nordic spruce – we use this wood because it has a closer grain, and is thus more robust, than southern European wood which grows more rapidly.

Using laminated wood also enhances the robustness of the product – the lamination cuts down on movement caused by moisture uptake, and lessens the likelihood of warping or swelling, so your square wooden gazebo will look smarter and be stronger.

As for the optional extras, you can order the Betty (9.0 sqm) with or without a floor, and you have the option to order roof shingles.
