Two things in particular make Klaus stand out from many other carports on the market. First, there's the attractive and traditional pitched roof. This makes it less utilitarian in appearance than some flat-roofed garages and carports, and it will blend in with other garden buildings. The roof angle is also useful if you live in a region where snow or copious rain are likely.
The second stand-out characteristic of the Klaus carport is the quality of the construction. Like our other carports, it's built from 120x120mm laminated timber posts, and we recommend the purchase of six optional ground anchors for securing the carport to the ground. Made from slow-grown Nordic timber, the posts are robust and dense - this carport is designed for durability. The roof is constructed from 19mm solid wood.
The dimensions of this traditional style carport are 315 x 372mm, and the entrance height is 199mm. If you're not sure whether this is the right size for your driveway or car, then we're happy to give advice. We can also help you decide between this and our other garages/carports, or give advice about what type of base you will need. If you like this style but would like a carport for two cars, Carport Robert (20.6 sqm) would be a perfect choice.
