Sometimes people refer to timber buildings as ‘sheds’, but this is hardly the word to describe a traditional holiday summer house as sturdy and substantial as the Sandra (21.5 sqm + 3.7 sqm) . In fact, it’s more like a cottage or house. It’s certainly big and solid enough to use for guest accommodation or a large garden office. It’s a good alternative to a caravan or static home.

This traditional holiday summer house has one large room and two smaller rooms inside, both with internal doors. There’s a decked entry terrace, a single door and five windows, all with double glazing. The timber is solid, dense 70mm Nordic spruce – this is an office or cabin for all seasons, but if you want greater insulation levels you can customise this log cabin, just request a quote for thicker timber.

There’s plenty of impressive detail and weather-proofing – from the door sills to the storm battens to the guttering. Foundation beams and terrace boards are pressure-treated to prolong their life and resist damp.

Other details add to the convenience and usability to this holiday summer house – doors have 3D hinges, and windows have a tilt-and-turn facility, so you can open them partially or fully, and there is 21.4 sqm of space.
